But when we get in a real hurry, you make sure 1) it's fast framerate and 2) it's good deathmatch (cause they are samller and easier to make). Byte: I've spec'd out a lot of the Duke levels and ideas. There will be the "normal" amount, give or take no 100 level game? come on 3-4 episodes type setup with 7-8 levels per episode sound: about right? no,levels take the longest of all the jobs (code, art etc). So thay have to be great, and that means lotsa time tweaking etc byte: In da ballpark, yes awesome. It's Duke, so 12 would be cool ;) (just kidding) hehe hah do you have any current plans that you can mention regarding what is next after duke and all? byte: I have ideas, but not gonna let em outta the bag this early. I wish BSP .77 didn't have those damn select/drag bugs... grrrrrrrr. You also can't really guage technology more than 18 months or more away, and that affects game design in a major way heh gripp: man, go back to .76 can we expect the same type of stuff like quake has.. such as runes, and powerups of that sort? what do you need .77 for anyway? very true regarding technology byte: doubt it. Prey is all new is prey d3d or OpenGL? If you switched a few lights in, there was like this cloudy thing that it did. i got dibs on disco balls for every other game duke + disco balls.. would look good in the proper map.. duke goes dancing hehe cya guys...need to get back to work... buny: No, that's silly. Just take a texture with the little diamonds, use it for the projected lighting, and do it in 3 colors...
